Rochdale chairman Chris Dunphy says he will "budget for the worst" after the attendance at Spotland dropped to 1,700 at the weekend. Rochdale are 12th in the League Two table, three points short of a play-off spot, with Dunphy acknowledging that if they hadn't sold players in recent seasons they would be "running on empty".
