Premier Sports have picked Newport's home match with Luton on December 4th to replace the cancelled coverage of the Hatters' trip to Mansfield on the 15th. Port Vale bidder Paul Wildes hopes to complete his takeover of the club within two weeks. He met with Football League officials at the end of last week, a meeting that went 'very well' according to a statement issued by Wildes.
Wrexham are to appeal the red card handed to keeper Joslain Mayebi at the weekend. They hope to overturn the three match ban handed to the keeper, with boss Andy Morrell blaming the reaction of Alfreton player Leigh Franks for Mayebi being sent off for an elbow. Telford have handed defender Liam Chilvers a contract until January. The 30 year old signed on non-contract terms in September, penning a one month deal shortly afterwards.
While Herefordshire Council ramps up parking costs across the city, their Worcester counterparts are set to halve many of their charges in a bid to bring more visitors to the city. Among the changes proposed to be voted on at a meeting later this month are a new 40p charge for half hour's parking, and cutting all-day stays by nearly 50%.
