Martin Foyle has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he's very happy with the FA Cup draw which pits the Bulls against Shrewsbury Town.
"I was pacing up and down saying I don't want them, I don't want them and don't want to travel up there and make no money and make it a hard game," said the Hereford United manager.
"To get a home draw was a bonus.
"And then to pull Shrewsbury was absolutely fantastic for us.
"We know it's going to be a tough game, I saw them the other night.
"But it's good and it's probably come at the right time for us."
Meanwhile Foyle will once again be short of players for tomorrow's game at Southport.
Just eleven fit players trained yesterday.
"Sometimes, as a manager you have got to take a risk.
"We've got to push them through more quickly than the physio would want me to to do.
"There's no point waiting four or five games down the line. I've got to do it now."
Meanwhile, opponents Southport have released striker James Ellison, with the former Burton man joining Droylsden. He is the second striker to leave the club this week, with a promised loan signing yet to appear.
