News Round-Up

Nuneaton face having just 15 fit players for their FA Cup tie with Telford on Saturday. The Boro are unable to recall striker Kyle Perry from the Bulls until the 28 day mark of his loan, and have four of their remaining 19 man squad injured. They are in negotiation with defender David McNamee over a longer term deal with the club, but have little funds left in the budget. Macclesfield have appointed former Southport coach Pablo Asensio to their backroom staff. The Argentinian has spent most of the last 10 year in England.

Gateshead trialled striker Chris Winn from Northern League second division side Ryhope in the week. The 22 year old was joined in the reserve outing by teenage former Stoke defender Jordan Galloway. Manager Ian Bogie says he has put 'money on the table' for two Conference strikers in the past week, but neither club wants to release their players with a potentially lucrative FA Cup tie looming.

Truro City's players say they will walk out of the club if a deal is struck for the club with anyone connected to the old regime. There is a 5pm deadline today to find a buyer with two parties reported to be in negotiations with the Administrator. England's 'C' trip to Albania went the same way as the senior squad's match in Poland. The game was moved from one waterlogged venue to a second, which was also deemed unplayable.

Kidderminster boss Steve Burr says he still doesn't know when striker Jamille Matt will be allowed to play again. The 22 year old continues to train with the club but has still not been granted a work permit as his absence runs into a eighth month. The Harriers have loaned defender Ryan Austin to Brackley for a month as the 28 year old former Burton man can't get into their side since ex-Bull Josh Gowling arrived at the club.
