Ferrell linked with Drug Trafficking

Former Hereford United midfielder Andy Ferrell is reported to be behind bars and facing a drug trafficking charge.

According to the Newcastle Chrinicle he was arrested two weeks ago.

“Andrew Ferrell, 28, of Adair Avenue has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs, and is currently going through the court system,” said a police spokesperson.

He will make his first appearance at Newcastle Crown Court on Thursday.

Ferrell had been playing for Bedlington Terriers before his arrest. His last appearance for them was on September 19th when he scored their third goal in a 4-2 victory over West Auckland Town.
