Forest Green's official site report that the FA have opened a formal investigation into the smoke bomb incident at Edgar Street last Tuesday.
An as-yet unidentified Forest Green fan set off a smoke bomb in the away terrace section of the Cargill Stand shortly after the game kicked off. The referee called a temporary halt to proceedings to allow the smoke to clear, with the Gumpers now reporting that an investigation is underway into the incident.
Forest Green have called on supporters with any information to ring their club secretary.
