Bulls Under Embargo?

Today's Non-League Paper says the Bulls were put under a transfer embargo on Wednesday.

With last month's HMRC bill unpaid, usually a trigger for an embargo from Conference chiefs, the breaking of the news saw them act leaving boss Martin Foyle unable to strengthen his threadbare squad.

He told the paper: "Last year there were £1200-a-week players here, and this year we are working with £400-a-week players."

He went on to repeat his concerns that loan strikers Phil Marsh and Kyle Perry could return to their parent clubs at the end of their loan spells, leaving Ryan Bowman - named by the paper as the star man in yesterday's cup win - as the club's only fit striker.

Foyle also had praise for Chris Todd: "What a lovely lad Toddy is. He's genuine, down to earth and he just gets on with it."
