Former Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman is back at Swindon where he started his football career in 1995.
He's joined the Robins to help with their Elite Player Performance Programme.
Last season Pitman was in the opposing dug-out to Paolo Di Canio, the Swindon manager but was sacked by Hereford last March after a string of poor results.
"Football is a notoriously difficult job," Pitman told the Swindon Advertiser.
"It was a tough job at Hereford but a great learning curve and something I'm glad I did and it was a great experience.
"But I've got to change and adapt to the youth system and youth football."
Pitman went on to explain how being a manager should help in his new job.
"Having had the insight as a manager you certainly get to see what comes to you.
"What I'm going to be trying to do is change behaviours and things like that."
