News Round-Up

Stockport have signed former midfielder Paul Turnbull from Northampton on a three month loan deal. The 23 year old signed for the Cobblers from the Hatters for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2011 but has failed to establish himself under their procession of managers. Former Bulls defender Martyn Giles has been recalled from his loan at Bridgend due to an injury crisis at parent club Llanelli. Manager Andy Legg, 46, is one of 16 players available to play in their game tonight.

Mansfield boss Paul Cox is bemoaning an injury crisis at the club that has left him with 'only' 20 fit players. He is mulling over offering terms to three unnamed trialists that have been trying to impress over the past week. Macclesfield's ambitious attempt to sign Emile Heskey has failed after the veteran striker signed for Australian side Newcastle Jets.

Telford are set to allow striker Joe Yoffe to leave after an unnamed Conf North side put in 7 days notice on the non-contract player. The 25 year old is yet to play for the Bucks after arriving in the summer. Truro City boss Lee Hodges says that there have been no solid enquiries to take over the club. Hodges told the BBC there had been several phone calls but not one had been followed up.
