News Round-Up


Telford have signed defender Liam Chilvers on a short term deal due to their current injury crisis. The 31 year old was released by Notts County in the summer. Gateshead have handed teenage striker Ryan McGorrigan a further months contract after his initial month long deal expired. The former Newcastle trainee has made five sub appearances so far this season.

Forest Green have handed defender Aaran Racine a two year deal after he signed a short term contract in the summer. The 20 year old signed for the Gumpers from Southampton. Former Bulls loanee Jason Price scored again as Prestatyn went joint top of the Welsh Premier with a 1-0 win over TNS.

Macclesfield have agreed a fee with Stalybridge over the signing of striker Arthur Gnahoua. The free agent had been training with the Silkmen over the summer after turning down a contract with the Conf North side. Cambridge have signed Cheltenham full back Danny Andrew on loan for an initial month. The 21 year old is yet to feature this season, ending last term on loan at Mansfield.

Wrexham say they have finally received international clearance for striker Andy Bishop, with it being revealed that he turned down Luton to sign for the Dragons. Lincoln are to sign Nottm Forest midfielder David Morgan. The 18 year old is yet to make his first team debut but he has been called into the Northern Ireland u21 side.

Southport are to loan Matt Nemes and Aaron Chalmers to Droylsden, while Louis Barnes is expected to join Chorley. None of the trio are yet to play for the Sandgrounders this season. Stockport have signed midfielder Matty Mainwaring on non-contract terms. The 22 year old has already had two spells with the club, and was released by Hull in the summer.
