Post Match Reaction From Martin Foyle

Hereford United manager Martin Foyle said he had throughtly enjoyed this afternoon's friendly against Yeovil which ended 1-1.

"I think it showed we're organised and hard to beat," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

There were plenty of trialists on show. Overall 39 players took some part in the game.

"You'd have seen for your own eyes that some of the trialists will come and go, but I'm on the lookout and today some of them did themselves no harm.

"I want lads who want to play here. Good attitudes. Want to work hard"

The manager named just two of the trialists. Firstly Chris Carruthers who was with Bristol Rovers.

"I thought he was outstanding today."

Secondly Lloyd Macklin (from Torquay) who scored Hereford's goal.

"A little bit of pace.

"I had a good chat with Lloyd yesterday

"He's the type of player who needs work."
