Welsh u21 international winger Jonathan Brown has confirmed on Twitter that his is trialling with the Bulls.
The 22 year old was contracted to Southport last season, but spent the second half of the season at Telford on loan. He has also picked up further Conference experience with Wrexham, where he played 27 times on loan from Cardiff in the 08/09 season.
Released by Cardiff in the summer of 2009 after two sub appearances in their first team, Brown played in the Welsh League while securing permission to try out with Australian side Central Coast Mariners. Following a month in the sun, he returned to the UK and completed the 2010/11 season with Bath.
Brown was previously reported to have had a trial at Edgar Street in the summer of 2009 under John Trewick, but it was never officially confirmed.
