Hereford United mid-fielder Kenny Lunt was talking to supporters not long after the end of this afternoon's game despite leaving the pitch on a stretcher.
Initially he was fouled but after treatment returned to the game but a minute or so later he went down again.
The referee, Roger East, appeared to think there was nothing wrong with him and didn't immediately stop play. But it soon became clear Lunt was suffering and physio Ian Rodgerson called for the St John's and the club doctor.
Play was held up for several minutes before Lunt was carried off the pitch.
Later whilst talking to supporters Lunt said he was fine. It's thought a dead leg was the problem.
