Crewe striker AJ Leitch-Smith has signed a one year contract extension with the club, with the option of a second year. Dagenham boss John Still has denied that striker Brian Woodhall has been the subject of a £250,000 bid from Nottm Forest. Still says no bids have been received for the former non-league forward, who bagged his tenth goal of the season over Easter.
Port Vale defender Clayton McDonald has denied a charge of rape at his trial alongside Sheff Utd striker Ched Evans. The pair are claimed by the prosecution to have raped a drunk teenager in a hotel in North Wales while two friends filmed the incident. Torquay chairman Simon Baker says delays over building their new grandstand will cost them £100,000 this season. They have had to make their final two home matches all-ticket with capacity at Plainmoor limited to just 4,500.
Yeovil have announced price rises for next season, one of the few clubs to do so. Match admission will rise by £1 to £17 for advance terrace tickets and £19 on the day. Oldham are selling under 16 season tickets for just £10 for next season for the two ends of their ground, but tickets for the main stand will be £156. In three days of sales so far this week they say 78% of sales are for the £10 tickets.
Dagenham have lost the services of Crawley loan pair John Akinde and Charlie Wassmer after the Red Devils opted to recall the duo. Striker Akinde played five times for the Daggers, while defender Wassmer managed just one sub appearance. Telford boss Andy Sinton wants to sign former Bulls loanee Marlon Jackson permanently. The 21 year old can play on the wing or up front and is out of contract at Bristol City this summer.
Mathieu Manset is to have a new manager at Shenhua after the Chinese club dispensed with Jean Tigana after a slow start to the season. Nicolas Anelka has been placed in charge at present but the club is looking to bring in four coaches from the UK and France after axeing most of Tigana's backroom staff. Northampton chairman Dennis Cardoza says the club will have a 'top six' budget next season for League Two but it will be lower than this season's spend. He told the BBC this season had been 'pretty horrific financially'.
Gillingham fans have called on the club and authorities to release details on the demands placed on the club to allow spectators into their match with Swindon. The game is currently prohibited from having fans in the ground over a Policing dispute, with a Kent Police statement saying the matter rests on the number of Police inside the stadium on the day. Rotherham boss Steve Evans says the club will have a 'high profile' summer with signings fit for the Championship.
Aldershot have lost the services of loanee Rob Sinclair and ex-Bull Ben Smith after their clubs recalled the players. Stevenage man Sinclair made just one start in his month at the Rec, while Crawley loanee Smith started three games and made five sub appearances. Shots boss Dean Holdsworth says he will try out some of the club's younger players instead during the closing matches of the season. Crawley caretaker boss Craig Brewster says he has recalled Smith, and the two loanees at Dagenham, so he can have every player at his disposal for their promotion challenge.
