Barnet FC v Hereford United
Football League 2
Friday 13th April 2012 KO 7.45pm
Phone 020 8441 6932
The Bulls travel to Underhill on Friday followed by a large support courtesy of free transport generously provided by The Club. Fans have, I believe, until lunchtime on Thursday to book their places for the coaches that depart from Radford’s at 2.00pm.
For those traveling by CAR – Leave the M25 at junction 23 and at the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A1081 towards Barnet. At the next roundabout (1.45 miles), take the second exit onto St Albans Road (A1081). At the traffic lights in Barnet take a right turn onto the A1000 and follow this road through Barnet and down Barnet Hill until you see The Old Red Lion pub on your right. The football ground is behind the pub. There is street parking around the ground or a little further down the road after passing under the railway bridge. Distance is around 140 miles but you should allow 3.5 hours at least due to rush-hour traffic.
ALEHOUSE – The Old Red Lion near the ground is a regular haunt for visitors to Underhill with The Weavers (under the railway bridge and 400 yards) just a short walk away. The is also a cracking chippy on the right just before The Weavers.
ADMISSION – is understood to be just £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
This is the BIG one. COYB.
