Southend have signed veteran defender Christian Dailly on non-contract terms ahead of their trip to Edgar Street.
The 38 year old has been training with the Shrimpers for the past few weeks after recovering from a long term knee injury that limited his involvement with former club Portsmouth to just two games at the start of this season. He was handed his debut by Paul Sturrock 22 years ago when the pair were at Dundee Utd together, with Sturrock insisting that the former Scotland captain was match fit and ready to join in for tomorrow's game.
Leaving Roots Hall is defender Pat Baldwin. The recent acquisition from Colchester has played just twice since arriving in late January, and has joined Exeter until the end of the season.
