Exiled Bull questions the need for so many coaching staff at Edgar Street and makes the comparison with West Brom.
Compare and contrast Hereford United with a mid-table Premier League side. Let's pick the one nearest to my home .. purely for convenience of course.
WBA Sporting and Technical Director: Dan Ashworth
Hereford Director of Football: Gary Peters
WBA Head Coach: Roy Hodgson
Hereford Manager: Richard O'Kelly
WBA Assistant Head Coach: Keith Downing
Hereford Assistant Manager: Perm one from three
WBA First Team Coach: Was Terry Burton now vacant
Hereford First Team Coach: Perm 2 from three
Trained Physios on Bench: WBA 1 Hereford 3 (Dodge, Jamie and Richard O)
WBA admittedly do have a reserve team coach but these are really young reserve players. Hereford don't really have a reserve side anyway.
It's hard to understand why a struggling Fourth Division outfit needs more first team staff than a Premier League side.
Ed's note: Hereford United chairman David Keyte has said he's likely to have less staff next season.
"I can say catagorically there will not be five in the management team indefinitely," Keyte told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
