The Bulls' safety gap increases to two points after today's results. A Cheltenham equaliser three minutes into injury time meant Northampton could only claim a 2-2 and are bottom with 28 points. Plymouth are next on 29 after going down 1-0 to Gillingham, with the Daggers below the Bulls on goal difference after they beat Bradford 1-0. The Bantams are four points and three places above the Bulls 31 points and 21st place, with Macclesfield on 33 points after their goalless draw at Bristol Rovers took their run to four points from 33. Barnet are on 34 points after a 1-1 draw with Rotherham, and they had ex-Bull Paul Downing sent off midway through the second half.

At the top Swindon's winning run came to an end with a 2-0 loss at ten man Oxford in the lunchtime kick off. They lead by three points from Cheltenham, with Southend third after their 2-0 win at freefalling Burton. Shrewsbury are down to fourth after drawing 1-1 at Crewe, with Torquay beating Crawley 1-0 to move up to fifth ahead of Steve Evans' men by three points. In the other game, Port Vale drew with Accrington 2-2.

In the Conference Fleetwood lead by five points after beating Tamworth 3-0.
