Preview: Rotherham vs Bulls

The Bulls will travel to the Don Valley Stadium for the final time to face Rotherham in a League Two match on Saturday.

This season will be the last of four seasons the Millers have spent at the athletics stadium, with their new ground due to be open this summer. On both previous visits to the ground the Bulls have secured draws. Last season's goalless effort followed a 1-1 draw in October 2009 when Gavin McCallum scored a last-minute equaliser in just his second sub appearance for the club. Earlier this season the Millers won 3-2 at Edgar Street with Delroy Facey and Yoann Arquin scoring for the Bulls to get them back from two goals down, before defender John Mullins scored the winner.

The Millers are expected to still be without a permanent manager at the weekend after dispensing with Andy Scott, with assistant Darren Patterson in temporary charge. Their only wins in the last ten games have come against Plymouth and Macclesfield, and they were beaten 3-0 by the combative Crawley last weekend. Top scorer Lewis Grabban has 18 goals this season including three in the last five games.

The Bulls travel to Sheffield after a much improved display last weekend ultimately proved fruitless. It took a heroic display from Crewe keeper Steve Phillips, named in the Team of the Week for it, to stop the Bulls after they fired in more shots on goal than any of their other games this season. With just six weeks of the season remaining, several players will be looking at earning new contracts with the club while they will all be keen to keep a relegation off their CV's. Three much needed points are required to ease concerns.

Rotherham United vs Hereford United, Don Valley Stadium, Saturday 31st March, 3.00pm.
