The Bulls travel to the Globe Arena to take on Morecambe in a League Two match on Saturday.
It will be only the Bulls' second trip to the new stadium after playing out a 1-1 draw at the end of last season, a week after securing League survival. Earlier this season the Shrimps won 3-0 at Edgar Street in the first home League match of the season. The Bulls are unbeaten in League trips to Morecambe, winning one and drawing two of the three matches since the Shrimps were promoted.
The Shrimps indifferent form of recent months have seen a substantial slump in gates. With chairman Peter McGuigan hoping to see 2,700 through the doors they have recorded successive gates of under 1,300 and the visit of the Bulls is unlikely to reverse that trend. Top scorer Kevin Ellison has 16 goals in all competitions including two in their surprise win over Cheltenham on Tuesday, only their fourth win in 20 games after a bright start.
The Bulls travel with new boss Richard O'Kelly having had several days to familiarise himself with his new charges. He largely left the team and tactics alone on Tuesday after just one substantial training session on Monday insufficient to make major changes. Striker Yoann Arquin and midfielder Nicky Featherstone and Harry Pell will be hoping for recalls after being ignored in recent weeks, while targetman Nathan Elder is reporting that he has a dislocated and cracked finger to contend with.
Morecambe vs Hereford United, Globe Arena, Saturday 10th March, 3.00pm.
