Pilgrims Eyeing Edgar Street Sell-Out

Plymouth are on course to sell out their allocation for the crunch relegation battle at Edgar Street.

The April 6th Good Friday match, kick off 3pm, is likely to be crucial to both sides' hopes of avoiding the drop with the Pilgrims reporting strong ticket sales of their allocation.

Tickets went on general sale in Plymouth yesterday after a week of sales to season ticket holders only, with a club statement saying it was 'increasingly unlikely' that any tickets would be available for Pilgrims fans on the day.

The news is good for the beleagured finances at Edgar Street, with the Bulls board only expecting 750 visiting supporters for the clash.

Meanwhile, Mathieu Manset started for the first time in his loan spell at Shenhua as they beat Guangzhou R&F 1-0. He played 73 minutes as a lone striker after short spells as a sub in their first two games, leaving the pitch before their winner. They are ninth in the 16 team League after three games.
