While several other parts of the country are expecting an ongoing freeze, the weather in Hereford is expected to ease off ahead of Saturday's game with Cheltenham - if you believe the Met Office.
Their forecast predicts that the last overnight freeze, of -3, will be on Wednesday night with the weather getting gradually warmer through to the weekend. However that prediction is contradicted by the BBC, who say Thursday will also be -3, while several other services suggest heavy freezes into the weekend.
The prediction on the Hereford Times website says there will be freezes all through the weekend with hard frosts, beyond the protection of pitch covers, for the next two nights. If that report is correct it would put the match in some doubt.
Cheltenham have begun selling tickets for the match, but they appear to be unlikely to sell out the full away allocation. Their official site offers only the 660 spots in the Cargill Stand and not the temporary stand.
