Shrews Beat Crawley

Shrewsbury beat Crawley 2-1 at a smoky Greenhous Meadow in the one League Two game last night.

With the Shrews having to make late changes to their line-up with players stuck in traffic on the M6, Crawley took the lead through John Akinde before an equaliser from Mark Wright. Half time sub Marvin Morgan hit the winner late in the second half. The win puts the Shrews up to third, four points ahead of the Red Devils, with Steve Evans' men holding two games in hand.

Meanwhile, there are five games in addition to the Bulls in League Two tonight. Most of the relegation rivals are in action tonight:

  • Barnet vs Bradford
  • Gillingham vs Hereford
  • Macclesfield vs Plymouth
  • Morecambe vs Dagenham
  • Port Vale vs Crewe
  • Swindon vs Burton
