BBC Hereford and Worcester are to broadcast a special programme, The Giantkillers, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Hereford United victory over Newcastle United.
Head of sport at H&W, Trevor Owens, has been talking to some of the players and some of the supporters who were at the match.
Whilst the programme will concentrate on the Newcastle replay at Edgar Street, it will also include memories from the other FA Cup games played that season including the fourth rounds ties against West Ham.
The programme is set to be broadcast at 12 noon next Sunday, February 5th, exactly 40 years to the day when Ronnie Radford and Ricky George scored the goals that put Hereford United into the football history books.
Meanwhile next Saturday at 12noon, Toni McDonald will features hits from 1972 on her H&W programme, Saturday Super Classics, to 'celebrate the big FA Cup victory for Hereford United'.
