Darlington's Administrator has given the club's fans time to raise funds after the only bidder on the table walked away from a deal.
Paul Wildes ended negotiations yesterday afternoon after failing to agree terms with former owner Raj Singh over his debt claim. Singh has offered to walk away for nothing if the fans take over, but wanted a cut of future development rights if Wildes was involved.
Fans will now need to find the estimated £500,000 cost of pulling the club out of Administration and turning it into a 'community club'. They have currently raised about a tenth of that figure.
