Herefrord United manager Jamie Pitman admitted after this afternoon's 3-2 defeat by Rotherham that poor defending had lost the Bulls the game.
"We need to defend better," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I think the difference in the game was we conceeded from two corners. We've got to do that a lot better.
"Apart from that the energy, the way we went forward, I thought we did enough to at least score a few more than we did. We got to be ruthless in both boxes.
"I felt we were on top for the majority of the first half. They got their goals from a corner and a strike that's hit an unbeleivable bobble and ended up nearly in the top corner.
"But you can't make excuses for it, we've got to defend better from corners.
"But we did ever so well to get back into the game. We worked ever so hard.
"The two goals we scored, we had a bit of luck with the first with a deflection, but if you don't shoot you don't score."
