Rotherham boss Andy Scott says his side is better equipped to pick up points on their travels.
The Millers play three of four League matches in December on the road, starting with tomorrow's trip to Edgar Street, and he told The Star he was excited by the attacking options his side had:
“We have done well away from home, scored a lot of goals and looked very dangerous going forwards. Maybe that suits the way we are set up to play. I’m excited by what we can do going forwards but we have got to shut up shop at the back and that is what we are going to try and do over the next couple of months.
“It it clear if we shore up defensively, then we have got a hell of a chance of achieving something this season. It has to come from within the players we have got here and, if it doesn’t, we will make more changes.”
Scott has warned his players there will be changes in January if they fail to sort out their defensive woes that have seen them concede as many as they've scored, with his side yet to keep a clean sheet on the road:
“That’s working out, near as anything, at two goals per game and that’s not acceptable... not acceptable at all. In fact, it’s embarrassing from my point of view considering the amount of work we do day in, day out"
Scott will likely change three of his back four for the game tomorrow. Dale Tonge and Jon Harley are expected to return to the full back roles, while Michael Raynes is expected to replace the injury Guy Branston.
