Pitman backs Arquin

Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman has said he feels Yoann Arquin can play at a higher level. The young French striker scored last Saturday in the 3-2 defeat by Rotherham.

"Yoann could be one of those players who could potentially play at the top level," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"But to do that he needs to add goals to his games.

"We've settled him down and he's got into the community and the English weather.

"Over recent weeks he's certainly worked a lot harder than he was before and he got his rewards with a goal.

"If he gave the squad six, ten goals in the next few months, then I'm sure people will start recognising his potential."
