Port Vale's board issued a statement yesterday denying yesterday's claims that the Blue Sky deal was dead and that the company had agreed to invest the millions they claimed, only for CEO Perry Deakin to later admit to BBC Radio that the deal was only for half a million as yesterday's revelations revealed. Chairman Peter Miller acknowledged the deal was dead, claiming that they had proof Blue Sky chief Hank Julicher was 'a liar'.
Cheltenham boss Mark Yates has been named Manager of the Month for November. The Robins won all three of their League matches during the month. Burton striker Billy Kee won the Player of the Month award. The 21 year old scored four goals in four games during the month after scooping the Football League young player award the previous month.
Wimbledon have extended the loan of West Ham defender Callum McNaughton for a third month. The 20 year old has played 14 times for the club so far. Veteran defender Christian Dailly is training with Southend in a bid to earn a contract. The 38 year old started the season on a month loan deal at Portsmouth, making two appearances, but was released before the transfer window shut.
Barnet manager Lawrie Sanchez is to be interviewed for the vacant managerial job with Northern Ireland. He previously held the post for three years before moving on to Fulham.
