Saturday's visitors Rotherham are facing defensive problems for their trip to Edgar Street.
Loan defender Guy Branston hopped back on the team bus last Saturday on crutches after picking up what is believed to be an ankle injury. Doubts over his fitness add to the Millers' ongoing problems in the back line. Club Captain Ryan Cresswell remains sidelined with an ankle injury, while Michael Raynes has struggled along with nerve damage to his knee but returned for a half hour sub appearance at the weekend.
Also out for Saturday is winger Marcus Marshall. The former Blackburn trainee was sent off during their FA Cup loss to Shrewsbury for two bookings and will sit out the Edgar Street match, while goalscoring midfielder Gareth Evans is also out after undergoing ankle surgery.
Coming back into contention is loanee Jon Harley. The 32 year old was refused permission to play in the FA Cup by parent club Notts County.
