Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton has called on his squad to get past the Bulls in the first round of the FA Cup.
"It is really important for the club to get a cup run this year and we have to do everything in our power to get past this round," Skiverton told the Somerset press.
"We have not done so well in the other cups, we got through a round last year but then played Hartlepool and had a poor showing so for us the year we have to be really positive.
"I need to make sure the lads are focused and realise that this is a local derby for us, playing against Hereford."
Like Jamie Pitman at Hereford, Skiverton has got selection problems.
"They had a keeper out so it could be quite tough for both clubs because we are still waiting on a couple of boys as to whether they will be available for the weekend.
"There is still a lot up in the air for both clubs but that is what happens when you are a smaller club and you have to rely on these loan signings. It is not ideal for our football clubs but with us and our history with Hereford it is a game that is a real nostalgic tie.
"Both clubs have got great cup traditions and both clubs will be looking to progress. We want that where it will be a good game of football and let's see who gets through and gets a decent draw for the next round.
"It is an important game and one both sides will see as a winnable game."
