The Bulls are to sign Barnsley defender Kern Miller, but the young centre back can't play until January.
The 20 year old is officially on loan at Accrington until the end of the year but that deal 'went wrong' according to Gary Peters, speaking to the official site.
Miller is a former Lincoln trainee who had his time at Sincil Bank ruined when he received a broken jaw while on a night out in Blackpool, but that injury didn't stop Barnsley pouncing for him in January 2011.
Peters backed Miller's character, adding: "I've known him for years, he's a good centre back. He's tall and quick, was Man of the Match for Accrington in two of his three games for them."
Peters knows Miller as the pair worked together at the Midas Sports Agency, where current loanee Richard Peniket is also a client.
