Former Hereford united defender Tony James will be back at Edgar Street on Saturday with Burton Albion.
"I'd definitely celebrate if I was to score despite the fact I still have very good memories of my time at Hereford," James told the Burton OS.
"I'm here at Burton now and we as a club are pushing for something special this season.
"We're pushing for the play-offs and we need a result to keep up our good form, so if I was to score, especially the winner, it would be a very special moment for myself."
"Obviously Hereford have played a massive part in my career and putting me where I am today. I won't be nervous because I've been there in the past and have had a good reaction.
"The fans have been really good to me each time I've been back. It's a huge personal moment for myself and I'm really looking forward to it."
