Peter Heritage was born this day in 1960. He joined he Bulls during Colin Addison’s second spell at the helm in early 1991. Initially on loan, the signing was made permanent shortly afterwards and he remained at The Club until the end of the following season. Heritage scored 10 goals in 65 appearances before moving on to Donny Rovers. He also still holds the record for scoring the fastest League goal at The Street for his 14-second strike against Lincoln.
The Wing Commander’s last known football post was coaching at Sussex League side Sidley United.
Also celebrating birthdays today are Drew Brand (1957) and Jim Hinch (1947).
