With this evening's news that Dave Cornell has been ordered to travel with the Welsh under21 squad later tomorrow by their manager Brian Flynn, there has been a mention of invoking a FIFA rule by Bulls manager Jamie Pitman.
In an interview recorded earlier today by BBC Hereford and Worcester, Pitman said that the issue about Cornell hadn't been totally solved.
"All being well he will be here Saturday unless anything changes," said Pitman.
"But I can't see that happening because we can invoke the four day FIFA rule anyway.
"That would still allow him to play with us anyway."
UPDATE 8.50pm: Dave Cornell has just tweeted: On the way back to hereford ready for saturday! Nice 2hour drive from reading back!
Further Update 10.00pm: The Hereford Times has reported that retired goalkeeper Dan Connor could make a shock return for Hereford United in the Bulls' FA Cup clash against Yeovil on Saturday.
However there are no direct quotes from Connor in their article.
