We were poor - says Boy from Brazil Contributer

Alex Scott has commented on last Saturday's match between Hereford United and Bradford City. Scott wrote the match report for the excellent Boy from Brazil site which covers all matters Bradford City.

The Bradford turnout was a shock to me. The positive spin is that it's a long way and the Liverpool game was on. The negative one is that the home support is dwindling (relatively) as well, so I'm worried the consistent under performance is beginning to have an effect.

We were poor, just about as poor as we've been this year. Thought it was a bit of a laugh your keeper got in the Team of the Week. Not that I think he's bad, I don't even know! Apparently we had a shot on target, I don't remember it.

Scott noted that Gary Peters appeared more involved in the second half.

I take it he came down to the bench for the second half v Swindon. I saw him second half spending a lot of time talking with Arquin and Facey before they came on whilst Pitman was on the edge of his technical area. It appears he is having more of an impact than the traditional DoF. If he is he's doing a great job obviously. Leslie looks a great pick-up. I take it the consensus on Pell is quite hit and miss right? I thought he was fantastic on Saturday and he scored last week right? Todd looked fine as well, something I wasn't really expecting tbh. Our left back has been phenomenal this year too, and the run-around Barkhuizen gave him in the second half was an eye opener.

And the mascot, we used to have a chicken ('Billy Bantam'), not sure what happened to him. When we were in the Premier League Billy had a wife chicken too ('Betty') but she never reappeared after the first administration. Financial worries obviously took a toll on their marriage!
