There were three games in League Two last night, with Cheltenham moving into the automatic promotion spots.
The Robins beat Burton 2-0, with ex-Bull Tony James being booked for the Brewers, to move within two points of the top of the table. Port Vale moved back into the play-off picture with a 3-0 win over Northampton, with ex-Bull John McCombe scoring. The Cobblers are 17th with 15 points after two straight losses.
In the other match Bristol Rovers finally showed some of their pre-season expectations with a 5-2 win over ten man Rotherham, who had Bradford loanee Guy Branston sent off on his debut. Ex-Bull Joe Anyinsah scored the Pirates' fifth goal with a deflected cross.
In the Conference, Fleetwood moved up to second with a 3-1 win over Lincoln.
