At today's press conference, new Bulls Director of Football Gary Peters told the Hereford Times that the Bulls have little budget to bring new faces in.
He told Richard Prime: "We can work within 55% of our income and that's been used up, so we've got to find ways of extending the budget.
"It's going to be tough, but I do understand the finances of clubs at this level and we've got to appeal to the fans. We're all mercenaries, they've got to realise that. People will straight away say 'ah, Gary Peters, he's a Slop'. Well, I'm not now, I'm working for Hereford."
Peters also told the paper he hoped to have a fans forum either on this Thursday or the following Monday.
Peters also spoke to the official site and gave a brutal assessment of the current team: "I think we have got to be scared, I think the team is probably the worst team in the division, I've not seen a team that I think is worse. I think that because the club has recognised it as soon as this, it has given us a great chance."
He also told Tim Russon that his role alongside Jamie Pitman will vary: "I'll be out there helping him with training, he'll be picking the team but there is lots of things that I can take away from him that hinder managers."
