Murray got subbed during the second half, but later came back on to score a penalty for Murray's Wolves XI later in the half (Think it was their sixth goal.)

In the programme for the day, Murray lists 'Hereford 3 - 0 Cheltenham' in his 'Top Five Games' with the following write up from himself;

I guess this was the beginning of the end in that I went on loan to Hereford to find some football but was only into my third game with them, at MK Dons, when I sufferred the knee injury which would ultimately bring the curtain down. But this first game was memorable. It was a big game at the bottom of League One but I was just desperatee to get out and play football. I ended up making saves and taking crosses, we won 3 - 0 and everything felt fine. I thought I was on my way. They were a really nice family club and, of course, Graham Turner was absolutely brilliant as were all the lads and all the staff. They were as upset as anyone when the injury curse returned a couple of games later. But that day, coming off the pitch after the win, I felt like I could play at the top again.

Nearly 8,000 supporters watched the game.
