Hereford United defeated Bristol City 4-2 in a behind closed doors friendly at City's Failand training ground earlier today. Here's an edited report from the City OS.
With their first chance of the game on 41 minutes, Yoann Arguin raced clear to beat Dean Gerken and give the Bulls a 1-0 lead at the break.
Within five minutes of the restart Hereford netted two more, Luke Prosser converting in off the post from close range and then Kenny Lunt's delightful 30-yard chip gave Gerken no chance.
Martyn Woolford rattled a shot into the top of the net from 20 yards to reduce the deficit and then Clarkson scored from inside the area to make it 3-2 on 69 minutes.
But Arquin had the final say ten minutes from time with a smart finish inside the penalty area.
