Luton boss Gary Brabin wants to turn Janos Kovacs' loan move into a permanent January deal - if the numbers are right.
The Hungarian is expected to play the ninth match of his month loan spell at Kenilworth Road on Friday, but has already stated his desire to remain at the Hatters for as long as possible.
While Jamie Pitman told the recent fans forum that Kovacs was 'not good enough' for the Bulls, Brabin told Luton Today that the player would be a good signing: “We’ve spoken to Janos about where he wants to go and we want to keep Janos longer, but it’s a little bit more complicated than that.
“He’s still contracted to Hereford at the moment and I don’t want to go too much in depth, but Janos is a player we would certainly be interested in keeping.
“I think Janos has enjoyed his time here and we’ll see how it goes after Friday, but he has come in and I think he would be a good acquisition.”
Kovacs started just 21 League matches for the Bulls after signing from Luton, where he spent the second half of the 2009/10 season.
