News Round-Up

Plymouth fans are claiming that Kevin Heaney's bid to buy the club has failed. The property developer has refused to comment on the claims, while rival bidder James Brent says he wants an answer by Friday on his offer for the club. Northampton have signed former Bulls loanee Marlon Jackson on an initial months loan from Bristol City. The 20 year old started last night's win over Wimbledon.

Port Vale have announced a £5million investment plan by American company Blue Sky International. The deal claims the sum will be pumped in over the next 12 months, with only £400,000 up front, with improvements to the ground and training facilities to follow. Fans have questioned the deal saying parts of it overlap their summer announcement with Ameriturf, with the two companies both involved in developing plastic pitches. Crawley have signed Colchester defender Tom Eastman on loan. The 19 year old has made one senior appearance for the U's.

Wrexham say their sale to the Supporters Trust has been 'largely agreed in principle' but will not be completed by Friday's self-imposed deadline.
