Following last night's 2-0 defeat by Aldershot, Jamie Pitman admitted he was frustrated by the recent performances by his squad. Interviewer Keith Hall pointed out that the supporters were also getting frustrated.
"You're frustrated, you try and times that by about a thousand," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Not only am I the manager of this football club, I am a Hereford supporter. I've played for this football club. I've been here a long time.
"So from my point of view it hurts me a lot. It hurts me emotionally. It hurts me as a professional because I want to do well in my career.
"What I'll do is I'll think about it over tonight and tomorrow and I'll come in and try to get them going for the weekend.
"That's all I can do.
"If I sulk and complain and moan about things that's not helping anyone is it?
"I'll try to keep them working. If I don't then I've lost them."
