Poor Goals to Concede says Pitman

Jamie Pitman has admitted that the three goals scored by Morecambe against Hereford United this afternoon 'shouldn't have been conceded'.

"We have conceded three goals that shouldn't have been conceded," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "Two from set-pieces and one from a good strike which I'm sure Adam (Bartlett) would feel he probably should have saved.

"We've created chances, we looked quite bright first half but the third goal killed any sort of momentum that we had.

"I'm not going to blame anybody, we all make mistakes.

"The two from set-pieces - we need to be a lot brighter and need to pass information on a little bit better.

"We need to be a little bit more manly and a little bit more ruthless defensively and going forward.

"We played fairly well, but obviously people just see the scoreline and the scoreline says 3-0 to Morecambe.

"We need a little bit more termpo and a bit more about us to convert a few."
