Not the greatest weekend for Hereford United and their supporters at Southend.
Firstly as reported yesterday the team coach broke down. Was it a coach usually used by some egg-chasers?
Secondly today the HUISA coach broke down with gear-box problems. A replacement coach took the supporters away from the ground reportedly to Oxford.
Thirdly it a long way from Herefordshire to Southend around a very slow M25
Finally the Bulls lost 1-0.
The ground itself is old but quaint and Hereford supporters were able to create quite a good atmosphere.
Southend's own Katherine Jenkins
The hosts helped with an emphasis on glamour both before the start and at half-time.
And the pies were hot, the coffee drinkable.
