Port Vale say they will post a reduced loss of just under £100,000 last season, down from £370,000 the season before. At a supporters meeting, the board claimed the losses were down to the EGM in June and increased security costs from supporter protests against the board. They also say that their claimed new investment is worth millions to the club.
