Bookies Backing Bulls To Win Tonight

Skybet have cut their odds on a Bulls win tonight.

Originally 6/5 on Sunday, they now go 11/10 on a Bulls victory against Macclesfield tonight. Every bookmaker has the Bulls as a clear favorite against a Silkmen side that is expected to be heavily depleted.

Former Bulls loanee Waide Fairhurst is 'extremely unlikely' to play any part in tonight's game after his opening day injury. He is due to have a scan today after pulling out of training yesterday. Fellow forwards Tom Fisher and Vinny Mukendi are also injured, while Emile Sinclair has been playing when not 100%.

The Silkmen have had to turn to former Bull John Grant, who hadn't played since January before his sub appearance against Crawley at the weekend. The 30 year old's last Football League appearance before that was as an Aldershot sub in their 2-0 loss at Edgar Street eighteen months ago.

Aside from their forward problems, winger Colin Daniel and defender Paul Morgan are also missing leaving manager Gary Simpson to fill his bench with untested teenagers.
