Hereford United's Rob Purdie has said that he is happy to play where ever manager Jamie Pitman asks him.
Purdie is often thought as a utility player and he admitted he might have to play in several different positions next season.
"I understand that I could start in maybe ten positions next season which might hinder my career but is keeping me in the Football League," Purdie told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I would prefer to play one or two positions but if I can play 30,40 games per season left back, right back etc that's better than playing ten games in one position."
After a long spell out of the game, Purdie admits he hopes to be even fitter this season than last.
"I have been working hard over the off-season and have got two and a half weeks now to get myself in really good shape for the start of the season.
"I will be fitter and stronger and that can only benefit me."
The squad is off to Spain in mid-July.
"I don't think I've ever been away expect to Aberystwyth twice for a couple of days, hopefully Spain will be a little bit more glamorous.
"It should be good for us."
Purdie feels there are plenty of signs that Hereford will do better this coming season after last seasons poor start.
"I came after the bad start but since then the club has shown what it can do especially with the players we've got.
"Obviously with the chairman wanting to make changes to the ground, I think it's a club that is going forward now.
"Jamie as manager is young and eager.
"And with the players we've got, and the form we showed towards the end of last season, I can't see why we can't be looking to challenge for promotion."
