Rotherham have appointed Darren Patterson as their new assistant manager. The former Oxford boss has most recently been Head of Youth at Bristol Rovers. Big spending Neath have been hit with a winding up order from the taxman, in the same week that they signed five more players onto full-time contracts. The club are yet to comment and are due in court on June 22nd.

Torquay are to name their new grandstand 'Bristow's Bench' after late benefactor Paul Bristow. He died a year ago, just three years after heading a consortium that took over the ailing Gulls. His wife remains on the Plainmoor board. Port Vale fan group have nominated it's spokesman, Malcolm Hirst, as their choice to be elected to the board. They were offered the chance to propose someone at the EGM.

A number of Plymouth's office staff have opted to take redundancy after being offered only half of their latest wages. Fans groups, who have raised £75,000 to support the staff, have demanded explanations from the Administrator. Staff were offered 30% of their wages this week, and a further 20% later in the month, with only £100,000 of a claimed £1million 'exclusivity' payment from the preferred bidders paid.
