Sheridan Watched Bulls

With his Chesterfield side coming to Edgar Street on Saturday, boss John Sheridan has told the press he watched the Bulls play at Port Vale last week:

"We aren't up yet, there's still plenty of work to be done and I'm not talking about promotion until it's done. We face Hereford next and we watched them at Port Vale recently, where they played well and perhaps should have won.

"They are after a few wins to stay in the league and, like every game, we will have to go out and earn the right to play if we want to get a result. It’s tight at the bottom. It’s an awkward place to go but we’ll go there and, like any game in this league, look to earn the right to get what we want from the game. We’ll be working very hard to try and get a positive result."

Sheridan's side is 13 points inside the automatic promotion zone and ten points clear of second placed Wycombe.
